Working together to make wine. It's what we do every day at Penny's Hill. But what if we swapped roles? What if we let our winemaker take a backseat? What if we had the freedom to make a wine just for the fun of it, in support of a worthy cause?
The team at Penny’s Hill have launched a brand new initiative, in support of the Leukaemia Foundation. All staff got involved ‘hands on’ in the winemaking of a fruit-driven 2016 McLaren Vale Shiraz, OURWINE. The wine was launched on 10 November 2017 at Penny’s Hill, at a spectacular evening event “Light the Night”, raising awareness and showing support for those affected by blood cancer in the community.
A complex, structured wine showing great depth of flavour, satisfying fruit intensity, fine tannin structure and a long finish.
$5 from every bottle sold is donated to the Leukaemia Foundation.
